Description: This indicates the Explicit Forward Congestion Indication (EFCI) activation threshold in high priority output buffer (OB); EFCI is generated towards the receiver termination point, in order to prevent congestion situation to be encountered within the output buffer; EFCI tagging is activated as soon as the activation threshold is reached; EFCI tagging is stopped as soon as the filling of the OB is below the EFCI desactivation threshold; due to BGTOB chip constraint, the value of the threshold is adnHscBoardTrMgtHOBSize (cells); this is only relevant for HSC board with a high priority output buffer.

What is adnHscBoardTrMgtHOBEFCIOffTh?

This integer threshold specifies when EFCI congestion signals stop for high-priority buffers, preventing unnecessary warnings once the congestion clears. Network engineers configure this with a lower value than the on-threshold to create hysteresis, which prevents oscillating between congestion and clear states. For example, a value of 80 stops sending congestion warnings once the high-priority buffer drains below 80 cells.
