What is adnFrtVCStatsBcOutDiscards?
This OID counts the number of sub-frames discarded at egress because they exceeded the committed data rate (Bc) threshold and were dropped due to line driver queue congestion or buffer overflow. Network engineers monitor this metric to identify when the network is oversubscribed, traffic shaping policies are too aggressive, or the committed rate is set too conservatively for the actual traffic. A value of 1200 means 1200 sub-frames were discarded at the outbound interface because they exceeded the committed rate during periods of network congestion.
