What is adnFrtVCHopCostRem?
This OID stores the remaining number of hops (intermediate network nodes) allowed when routing this virtual circuit between the source and destination nodes. Network engineers set this to prevent inefficient routing paths that traverse too many nodes, which increases latency and risk of congestion. A value of 5 means the VC can traverse up to 5 additional network nodes before reaching its destination.
