This OID stores the committed data rate (guaranteed minimum throughput) in bits per second for traffic flowing in the forward direction of this Frame Relay virtual circuit. Network engineers set this value to establish service-level agreements and ensure the carrier guarantees minimum bandwidth in one direction. For example, a value of 256000 means the network commits to deliver at least 256 kilobits per second of throughput in the forward direction.
