Description: This is the DLCI (data link connection identifier) of the VC on the interface on which it exits this node away from this VC endpoint. This can be combined with adnFrVCOutifIndex and used for call tracing.
What is adnFrVCOutDlci?
This OID stores the data link connection identifier (DLCI) number used on the outbound interface to identify the virtual circuit, allowing the network to route frames correctly on the trunk line. Network engineers use this DLCI, combined with the outbound interface number, to trace calls through the network and match traffic on the wire to logical circuits. For example, DLCI 100 on trunk interface 5 uniquely identifies one path segment of the circuit and helps pinpoint where a frame is getting lost.
