This OID stores an integer representing the timeout in seconds for re-establishing the LAPD data-link connection on the D-channel; if this timer expires, all active calls on the channel are cleared. Engineers set this value conservatively to avoid losing all calls during minor network hiccups, but not so high that a failed link goes undetected forever. Example: setting to 30 seconds allows the link to be temporarily unavailable for up to 30 seconds before the device clears every active call.
