What is adnFrAtmSerIWInitDE?
This OID determines how the Discard Eligibility (DE) bit is initialized in frames that are reassembled from ATM cells back into frame relay format. Network engineers set this parameter to control which traffic gets dropped first when the network becomes congested. For example, mode21 sets DE to 1, marking all reassembled frames as discard-eligible, so they are the first to be dropped in congestion.
