adnDumSubdirectoryQuota

Module: ADN-MIB

OID (symbolic): ADN-MIB::adnDumSubdirectoryQuota

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.5.11.5.11.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: AdnPercent

Access: read-write

Description: The percent of the aggregate disk storage that is allocated to the subdirectory of the filesystem on which the parent directory is mounted. The default quota for the /hss/to_nms/perf subdirectory is 10 percent, meaning that on a first pass of the reduction cycle, old statistics files will be deleted until the /hss/to_nms/perf subdirectory is using no more than 10 percent of the total partition size. The default quota for the /hss/to_nms/fault subdirectory is 10 percent. The default quota for the /hss/to_nms/acct subdirectory is 100 percent, meaning that no accounting files will be deleted by this process.

What is adnDumSubdirectoryQuota?

This OID stores the percentage of total disk capacity allocated to a specific subdirectory as a usage limit. Network engineers configure subdirectory quotas to ensure different types of data do not consume the entire disk. For example, setting the quota to 10 percent for "/hss/to_nms/perf" allows old statistics files to be deleted once this subdirectory exceeds 10 percent of total disk capacity.
