Description: Duration of Remote Signalling Multiframe Alarm (RSA). Counter #18 of the ATM core, only available on CES-E1-Multiframed interfaces.
What is adnDsx1RsaCounter?
This counter tracks the duration of remote signaling multiframe alarms on E1 multiframed interfaces when far-end signaling is disrupted. Network teams monitor RSA to detect E1 signaling failures at the opposite end that require coordination with the remote provider to fix. A value of 240 seconds shows the remote signaling failed for 4 minutes, preventing proper multiframe signaling synchronization across the link.
