What is adnDsx1RemLoopbackTest?
This read-write setting forces the remote equipment to enter loopback mode, making it echo back any incoming data so you can test the local-to-remote transmission path. Engineers use loopback testing to isolate whether errors are on the outbound path (from you to remote), the return path (from remote to you), or in the remote device itself. Setting this to 'remoteLoopback' for a few minutes lets you inject known test patterns and measure error rates in isolation.
