What is adnDsx1MsAisTest?
This read-write control allows you to inject a test alarm indication signal (AIS) onto the outgoing DS1 line, useful only for lab testing or troubleshooting peer equipment. Engineers use this to verify that the remote side properly detects and responds to alarm signals without needing an actual line failure. Setting this to 'aisOn' for 30 seconds lets you confirm the remote device correctly flags an alarm condition before clearing it.
