Description: Number of frame bit errors (FE). Counter #5 of the ATM core, only available on ATM-E1, CES-T1 and CES-E1-Framed interfaces.
What is adnDsx1FeCounter?
This counter counts individual frame bit errors occurring at the bit level on E1 and T1-Framed interfaces. Network engineers track frame errors to detect noisy transmission lines or equipment problems that corrupt individual data bits without disrupting the entire frame. A value of 50 means 50 individual bits arrived corrupted in frame headers, indicating marginal signal quality or line conditioning issues.
