What is adnDsx1FarEndCurrentAESs?
This counter measures errored seconds of type A being reported by the remote DS1 equipment for the current 15-minute interval. A network engineer uses this to correlate problems seen at both ends of the circuit and confirm whether errors are symmetric (similar on both sides) or asymmetric. For example, a value of 4 from the far end combined with local errors of 4 suggests a bidirectional problem, but if local errors are 10 and far-end is 2, the near-end equipment may be at fault.
