What is adnDsx1DayIntervalSEFSs?
This gauge counts seconds during the current day when the DS1 framing was severely corrupted, meaning the equipment could not reliably interpret frame boundaries in the signal. A network engineer cares about SEFS because it usually indicates electrical or synchronization problems that prevent the interface from working at all. For example, 2 seconds of SEFS might cause a few dropped calls or temporary forwarding delays.
