Description: Number of seconds containing one or more AIS defects at path level (AISS-P) encountered during the current day (from 0 hours to the current time).
What is adnDsx1DayIntervalAISSs?
This gauge counts the total seconds of alarm indication signal at the path level from midnight to now, which the remote equipment sends continuously when it detects upstream problems. A network engineer checks this first to determine whether the fault is on the local side (AIS should be zero) or upstream from the far end. For example, 300 seconds of AIS in a day indicates a persistent problem at the far-end or the circuit between you.
