Description: The number of pending traps in the CVSI slave in the HSS. The traps will be pending if either the Tag Switch Controller (TSC) hasn't acknowledged them, or they could not be sent for some reason. Common Name: Current Trap Window
What is adnCvsiCurrTrapWindow?
This integer shows how many traps are currently pending (waiting to be acknowledged) in the CVSI slave. A network engineer monitors this in real time to detect trap storms—situations where traps are generated faster than they can be sent and processed. For example, a climbing value of 87 during an outage suggests the controller is not acknowledging traps fast enough and alerts may be lost.
