Description: Number of Be (excess burst data rate) sub-frames that were discarded for ingress traffic (TPX interworking function, frame relay switching interface, or frame relay subsystem) due to ISM (internal switching mechanism) queue congestion.
What is adnCongMgmtVCBeInDiscards?
This OID counts how many excess burst data rate frames have been discarded on ingress traffic due to queue overflow. Network engineers use this to understand whether burst traffic (which is not guaranteed) is overwhelming the network and when to reduce burst allowances. A value of 2800 means 2800 burst frames were dropped.
