Description: Number of Bcs (statistically committed data rate) sub-frames that were discarded for ingress traffic (TPX interworking function, frame relay switching interface, or frame relay subsystem) due to ISM (internal switching mechanism) queue congestion.
What is adnCongMgmtVCBcsInDiscards?
This OID counts how many statistically committed data rate frames have been discarded on incoming traffic because internal queues filled up. Network engineers monitor this to see if statistical traffic commitments are being exceeded, which would indicate contract violations or misconfiguration. A value of 120 means 120 statistical-rate frames were dropped since measurement started.
