This OID stores the committed information rate in bits per second for outbound traffic on this PVC endpoint (a 32-bit integer). An engineer sets this to match the contract with the Frame Relay provider so traffic sent out does not exceed the promised rate. For example, a value of 256000 bits/sec means outbound traffic is contractually guaranteed to run at 256 kilobits per second.
