This OID stores the committed burst information rate for inbound traffic on the virtual circuit in bits per second (a 32-bit integer). An engineer configures this to guarantee that the circuit will accept at least this much inbound traffic without dropping frames. For example, a value of 256000 bits/sec means the circuit commits to passing 256 kilobits of inbound data per second.
