Module: ADN-MIB
OID (symbolic): ADN-MIB::adnBoardServiceIndicator
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.5.15.2.1.13
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: An indication of the services supported by this board. Boards of the same physical type may have different values for this object, depending on the services configured for the board by the NMS operator. The selection of services may also cause different software to be loaded onto the board. For the same physical board type, the software load list (SLL) may contain multiple entries, each qualified using a different value of this object as a selector. Value Meaning ------------------------------------------------------------ notSpecified(1) No specific indication is available. - This value is used for boards with - no service assignment (such as a - board in the 'spare' redundancy - role). - nodeAdmin(2) Node administration and management - services. - atmSwitching(3) ATM switching services. - frAccessAndTrunk(4) Frame relay access and trunk - services. - frxAccess(5) PSX FRX (Frame Relay eXchange) - access service. - frTrunkOverAtm(6) Frame relay trunking over ATM. - frxTrunkOverAtm(7) PSX FRX trunking over ATM. - atmAccessAndTrunk(8) ATM access and trunk services. - frAccessOverAtm(9) Frame relay access over ATM using - Frame Relay Forum (FRF) scenario 1, - scenario 2 and service interworking. - frAccessAndTrunkOverAtm(10) - Frame relay access and trunking - over ATM. The access service uses FRF - network scenario 1, scenario 2 and - service interworking. - circuitEmulation(11) Circuit emulation services. - nodeSync(12) Node-level clock synchronization - services. - ipForwarding(13) IP routing over Frame Relay or ATM.
What is adnBoardServiceIndicator?
This OID describes which optional services or features are active on the board, such as encryption, protocol translation, or compression. Engineers use this to verify that licensed features are loaded and configured correctly on the hardware. An example might be that a value of "MPLS" indicates the card is running with MPLS forwarding enabled, while a value of "BASIC" means only basic routing is active.
