Description: For a primary card, this variable indicates the adnEquipIndex of the spare card which backs up this primary card. For a spare card, this variable indicates the adnEquipIndex of the primary card which is backed up by this spare card. The value zero indicates no relationship. For the CU (Control Unit) board, this object is not significant and its value is always zero.
What is adnBoardRedundantBind?
This OID stores the slot number of the redundant partner card for a given board. Engineers use this to verify that redundant pairs are correctly bonded—if two cards that should back up each other show different binding values, there's a configuration mismatch. An example is board in slot 1 might have a binding value of 5, meaning the spare in slot 5 backs it up; a value of 0 means no redundant partner is bound.
