Description: Whether tagging option is enabled on the Cell Loss Priority (CLP) 0 traffic, in the transmit direction, when cells are not conformant, of this Virtual Path Link (VPL).
What is adnAtmVplTrmTagging?
This OID indicates whether non-conformant cells are tagged rather than discarded in the transmit direction when they exceed the peak cell rate. Network engineers enable tagging to allow downstream equipment to make discard decisions based on priority rather than dropping all out-of-spec cells immediately. For example, tagging "enabled" means cells exceeding the contract are marked with a low-priority flag so some may still reach destination.
