What is adnAtmVplTrmAISStatus?
This OID tracks whether an Alarm Indication Signal is being transmitted from this link due to a detected fault condition in the transmit direction. Network engineers monitor this to know when the outbound path has problems and to trigger failover to backup circuits. For example, an AIS status of "active" indicates a fault has been detected and alarm signals are being sent to alert downstream equipment.
