Description: Whether tagging option is enabled on the Cell Loss Priority (CLP) 0 traffic, in the receiving direction, when cells are not conformant, of this Virtual Path Link (VPL).
What is adnAtmVplRcvTagging?
This OID indicates whether non-conformant incoming cells are tagged rather than discarded when they exceed the peak cell rate in the receive direction. Network engineers enable receive-side tagging to preserve traffic that exceeds contracted rates as low-priority instead of losing it immediately. For example, with tagging "enabled", incoming traffic bursts are marked as CLP 1 so they can still reach their destination but will be dropped first during congestion.
