Description: The number of cells received on the Virtual Path Link (VPL) and declared non conform by the Virtual Scheduling Algorithm (VSA) B of the police processing. Whatever the ATM Transfer Capability (ATC) of the VPL, the VSA B is always enabled.
What is adnAtmVplPerfRcvCellVsaBNonConform?
This counter counts ATM cells arriving on a Virtual Path Link that violated policing rules under the VSA-B scheduling algorithm, which is always active regardless of the ATM transfer capability setting. Network engineers track this metric to assess whether traffic is exceeding negotiated bandwidth limits and to tune traffic-shaping policies. A reading of 2,100 means 2,100 cells failed the VSA-B compliance check and were potentially downgraded or dropped.
