What is adnAtmVpcDirRoutNodeAreaNum?
This OID contains the area number component of the next hop node identifier in a VPC routing path, encoded as a signed 32-bit integer. Network engineers reference this alongside the machine number to pinpoint which geographical or logical area the VPC traffic is being routed toward. For example, if the area number is 2, the traffic is headed to area 2 of the network, combined with the machine number to form the complete destination address.
