This OID sets the maximum jitter tolerance for cells arriving on the inbound VCL, measured in microseconds or cell-time units. A network engineer uses this on the receiving side to match or enforce the jitter tolerance of the remote sender, dropping cells that arrive too far out of sequence. For instance, a tolerance of 100 microseconds means the switch drops any cell that arrives more than 100 microseconds out of the expected timing window.
