Description: Duration of loss of ATM signal from the Exchange Termination processor (ET) to the Line Termination processor (LT). Counter #31 of the ATM core, only available on ATM interfaces over lines on BBS1B, BBS1B3, BBS1B2, or BBS1B4 board.
What is adnAtmTCLossOfAtmSignalCounter?
This counter tracks the duration of loss of ATM signal between the line termination and exchange termination processors on the line card. Operators use it to diagnose communication failures between the interface hardware and the main processor fabric. For instance, if this counter increments to 2 seconds, the line card lost synchronization with the main system—requiring a card reset or replacement.
