Description: The length (in seconds) of the timer started upon transmission of an Add party message. The timer is stopped upon receipt of an Add party acknowledge, Add party reject, or Release message. If the timer expires, the connection is cleared.
What is adnAtmSigT399?
When the switch sends an Add party message to include a new participant in an existing connection, this timer starts and counts down for acknowledgement. If the timer expires without receiving an Add party acknowledge, Add party reject, or Release message, the entire connection is cleared. A value of 25 seconds allows sufficient time for the remote equipment to process the request.
