Description: The length (in seconds) of the timer started upon receipt of an Alerting message. This timer is stopped upon receipt of a Connect message. When the timer expires, the connection is released.
What is adnAtmSigT301?
This OID sets the timeout (in seconds) starting when the called party's phone is alerted until a connection is fully established; if it expires without a Connect message, the call is dropped. Engineers configure this based on expected user response times; too short drops legitimate calls, too long wastes resources on abandoned connection attempts. Example: 180 seconds means the system gives the called party 3 minutes to pick up and complete the connection before hanging up.
