Description: The COnnected Line identification Presentation (COLP) service implementation. Whether the switch is allowed to update the connected party number and subaddress Information Elements (IEs) in each Connect message received by the switch (issued from the calling subscriber) and forwarded to the called subscriber.
This object is not significant if adnAtmSigProtocol is 'atmfv31' because the connected party number and subaddress IEs do not exist in the ATM FORUM User-Network Interface (UNI) Specification V3.1.
What is adnAtmSigColp?
When enabled, the switch includes the actual number or extension of the party that answered the call in Connect messages sent back to the caller. This lets the caller see which extension answered their call, useful for callback or record-keeping. For example, a call to the main number 555-0000 that routes to extension 555-0050 shows '0050' or the extension name on the caller's display.
