Description: The Calling Line Identification Presentation (CLIP) service implementation. Whether the switch is allowed to update the calling party number and subaddress Information Elements (IEs) in each Setup message sent by the switch to the called subscriber:
- 'enabledWithoutOverride': The calling party number IE is transmitted (or inserted if it is not present) in the Setup message sent. If the IE is present in the Setup message received, according to the Presentation Indicator (PI) field value, the address field could be modified by the switch
- 'enabledWithOverride': The calling party number IE is transmitted (or inserted if it is not present) in the Setup message sent. If the IE is present in the Setup message received, whatever the PI field value the address field is transmitted in the Setup message sent
- 'disabled': The calling party number and subaddress IEs are suppressed in the Setup message sent.
What is adnAtmSigClip?
This parameter determines whether the calling party's number and subaddress are transmitted in Setup messages sent to the called subscriber's display. When set to 'enabledWithoutOverride,' the calling number always appears to the called party. When set to allow override, individual callers can request their number be hidden on a per-call basis.
