Description: The time interval (in seconds) between STATtus (STAT) Protocol Data Units (PDUs) received for this Signalling ATM Adaptation Layer (SAAL) connection. If this timer expires, the connection is aborted.
What is adnAtmSaalNoRespTimer?
This OID controls how long (in seconds) the system waits between receiving status updates on an ATM signaling connection before assuming the link is dead and aborting it. Engineers care about this because unresponsive connections that linger waste resources; the timer forces cleanup of dead paths automatically. Example: 30 seconds means if no status message arrives within 30 seconds, the entire connection is torn down.
