Description: The maximum number of times an unacknowledged Connection Control (CC) Protocol Data Unit (PDU) can be resent for this Signalling ATM Adaptation Layer (SAAL) connection. The connection is aborted when this value is exceeded.
What is adnAtmSaalMaxCC?
This OID sets the maximum number of retries for unacknowledged Connection Control protocol messages before the connection setup attempt is abandoned. Engineers adjust this value to balance connection reliability (more retries tolerate temporary packet loss) with connection setup speed (fewer retries fail faster). For example, a value of 7 means up to 7 retry attempts occur before declaring the connection setup failed.
