Description: The amount of time (in milliseconds) allocated for waiting for the STATus (STAT) Protocol Data Unit (PDU) solicited by the final POLLing (POLL) PDU when activity ends on this Signalling ATM Adaptation Layer (SAAL) connection.
What is adnAtmSaalKeepAliveTimer?
This OID sets how long (in milliseconds) to wait for a status response after sending a final poll when the connection becomes idle and activity ends. Network engineers use this to set grace periods for detecting dead connections; if the response doesn't arrive, the system knows the connection has failed. Example: 8000 milliseconds means after activity stops, wait 8 seconds for the other end to confirm it's still alive before closing the connection.
