This OID shows the maximum total number of virtual connections (combining both virtual path and virtual channel connections) allowed on this ATM interface. Engineers use this to understand capacity limits and plan how many circuits they can create on an interface. For example, if MaxVcs is 4096, you can create at most 4096 VCs total on that interface.
