Description: The maximum allowed transit delay for all delay sensitive Switched Virtual Connections (SVCs) (switched Virtual Path Connections (VPCs) and Virtual Channel Connections (VCCs)) and the default value for the Permanent Virtual Connections (PVCs) supported by this ATM interface. The delay sensitivity of a connection is deduced from the ATM Transfer Capability (ATC) of the link, specified by adnAtmVplTransferCapability and adnAtmVclTransferCapability. For the PVCs (VPCs and VCCs) the maximum allowed transit delay could be defined per connection. This object is significant only if the interface type is not a Cell alcatel Network protocol Interface (CNI).
What is adnAtmInterfaceMaxTDSensitive?
This OID specifies the maximum allowed transit delay for delay-sensitive virtual connections on this interface, such as voice calls. Configure this low to ensure real-time applications work properly, rejecting calls if they would exceed this delay limit. A value of 25 milliseconds ensures voice calls on this interface won't experience more than 25 ms latency.
