adnAtmInterfaceMaxTDOther

Module: ADN-MIB

OID (symbolic): ADN-MIB::adnAtmInterfaceMaxTDOther

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.4.37.1.2.1.42

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The maximum allowed transit delay for all no delay sensitive Switched Virtual Connections (SVCs) (switched Virtual Path Connections (VPCs) and Virtual Channel Connections (VCCs)) and the default value for the Permanent Virtual Connections (PVCs) supported by this ATM interface. The delay sensitivity of a connection is deduced from the ATM Transfer Capability (ATC) of the link, specified by adnAtmVplTransferCapability and adnAtmVclTransferCapability. For the PVCs (VPCs and VCCs) the maximum allowed transit could be defined per connection. This object is significant only if the interface type is not a Cell alcatel Network protocol Interface (CNI).

What is adnAtmInterfaceMaxTDOther?

This read-only value sets the maximum allowed transit delay for non-delay-sensitive virtual connections like best-effort data. You can set this higher than delay-sensitive traffic since applications like file transfer tolerate higher latencies. For example, a value of 500 milliseconds allows data connections up to 500 ms latency, much higher than voice tolerance.
