Description: Whether charging is enabled for all Switched Virtual Connections (SVCs) (switched Virtual Path Connections (VPCs) and Virtual Channel Connections (VCCs)) and the default value for the Permanent Virtual Connections (PVCs) supported by this ATM interface.
For the PVCs (VPCs and VCCs) the charging status could be defined per cross-connection.
What is adnAtmInterfaceCharging?
This OID controls whether the ATM interface applies usage-based billing to switched connections and sets the default billing status for permanent connections. Service providers enable charging to track and bill customers for switched ATM services based on connection time or volume. For example, setting this to 'enabled' activates billing collection for all SVCs on the interface, with each connection tracked for revenue purposes.
