What is adnAtmBoardTraHMP1ObsCounter?
This counter measures how many ATM cells were received after the observation threshold was exceeded on the second HMP chip. Engineers track this to identify whether traffic is balanced evenly across multiple HMP chips and to spot asymmetric load patterns that might need rebalancing. A value of 8500 on HMP1 versus 10000 on HMP0 shows uneven traffic distribution requiring QoS or routing adjustments.
