Description: The counter associated with the number of free outgoing point-to-multipoint (PTM) internal channel identifiers (ICI); counter #2 of the ATM core; this counter is only relevant for the matrix board.
What is adnAtmBoardTraFPTMICICounter?
This gauge displays the current number of free (available) internal channel identifiers allocated for outgoing point-to-multipoint ATM connections. Network engineers watch this value to ensure the board has sufficient channel resources available before setting up new multicast or broadcast connections. A gauge value of 50 means 50 identifiers are still available; when it approaches zero, new multipoint connections will fail due to resource exhaustion.
