Description: The counter associated with the duration of rate reduction FIFO overflows (from ET to LT). expressed in milliseconds; counter #13 of the ATM core; this counter is only relevant for BBE1B and BBT1B boards.
What is adnAtmBoardErRFIFOCounter?
This counter measures how long (in milliseconds) the rate-reduction FIFO buffer was full on ATM boards like BBE1B and BBT1B. Network engineers monitor this to spot congestion in rate-limited traffic paths and determine if traffic is being throttled too aggressively. A value of 5000 means the rate reduction buffer was completely full for 5 seconds total during the monitoring period.
