adnAtmAccTrmTrafficDescrType
Module: ADN-MIB
OID (symbolic): ADN-MIB::adnAtmAccTrmTrafficDescrType
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.4.37.2.1.32
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The type of a virtual cross-connection (Virtual Path Connection (VPC) and Virtual Channel Connection (VCC)) traffic descriptor in the transmit direction. Depending on the value, the following traffic parameters (defined in the same direction) are initialized: - 'pcrCdv': .PcrAggregate PARAM1 .CdvTol PARAM2 - 'pcrCdvScrMbs': .PcrAggregate PARAM1 .CdvTol PARAM2 .ScrAggregate PARAM3 .MbsAggregate PARAM4 - 'pcrCdvPcr0': .PcrAggregate PARAM1 .CdvTol PARAM2 .PcrClpZero PARAM3 - 'pcrCdvScr0Mbs0': .PcrAggregate PARAM1 .CdvTol PARAM2 .ScrClpZero PARAM3 .MbsClpZero PARAM4 Common name : Traffic Descriptor in the Transmit Direction.
What is adnAtmAccTrmTrafficDescrType?
This OID specifies which set of traffic descriptors is active for shaping transmit traffic: pcrCdv (peak rate and delay variation only) or pcrCdvScrMbs (peak, delay variation, sustained rate, and burst size). Network engineers use this to understand which parameters in the adjacent OIDs (PARAM1–PARAM4) are actually being enforced on outbound traffic. For example, if set to pcrCdvScrMbs, the network is tracking both peak and sustained cell rates for traffic shaping.
