Description: The number of ATM Adaptation Layer 5 (AAL5) Common Part Convergence Sublayer (CPCS) PDUs discarded on this Virtual Channel Link (VCL) because the value of the length field in the PDU trailer is not consistent with the actual PDU payload length.
What is adnAtmAal5PerfLengthErrors?
This counter records the number of AAL5 protocol data units discarded on a Virtual Channel Link because the length field in the PDU trailer did not match the actual payload size. Network operators use this to detect frame corruption, misconfigured segmentation/reassembly, or interworking errors. A value of 42 indicates that 42 corrupted PDUs were detected and discarded rather than being processed.
