Description: This variable indicates if cells are discarded because of FIFO overflow or Selective Cell Discard (SCD). It is a bit map represented as a sum.
The bit positions are :
1 : Selective Cell Discard activated 2 : FIFO overflow
N.B.:When there is neither overflow nor SCD activation, the corresponding bit has the value '0'.
this is relevant only for the BBASEB matrix board.
What is adnAseBoardTrMgtOBStatus?
This read-only OID is a bitmap showing whether the ASE matrix board is experiencing Selective Cell Discard (SCD) activation (value 1) or FIFO overflow (value 2), or both. Network operators check this to understand the current congestion state of the matrix board and whether the system is proactively managing traffic or has lost buffer control entirely. A value of 3 (1+2) means both SCD is actively discarding cells and a FIFO overflow has occurred on the matrix board.
