Module: ADN-MIB

OID (symbolic): ADN-MIB::adnAnRank

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.5.8.18.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Rank (cost order) of the node ID to reach the address. The rank of the entry with the lowest cost is 1.

What is adnAnRank?

This OID shows the cost ranking (1, 2, 3, etc.) of this node among all nodes that can reach the address, with rank 1 being the lowest-cost path. Engineers use this to verify that the routing engine has correctly prioritized nodes and that the preferred path is being used. For example, rank 1 means this is the primary (cheapest) path to the address, while rank 2 is a backup.
