adnAnNodeAreaNum

Module: ADN-MIB

OID (symbolic): ADN-MIB::adnAnNodeAreaNum

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.5.8.18.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The area number part of adnAnNodeIndex, the routing area number of the node at the remote endpoint.

What is adnAnNodeAreaNum?

This OID stores the area number portion of a node's routing address (the first part of the node ID), as a signed 32-bit integer. Network administrators use this to determine which geographic or logical area a particular routing node belongs to and to understand network segmentation. For example, a value of 3 indicates the node is in area 3 of the network.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.637.3.1.5.8.18.1.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ADN-MIB::adnAnNodeAreaNum
