Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: AdnEnableDisabled

Access: read-write

Description: When adnAmMakeAccounting is enabled, the accounting data from all applications that have registered for the service are requested and collected in a common file. After waiting the time interval defined in adnAmMakeAccountingWindow to receive all responses, the accounting file is transferred to the Network Management System directory and the Network Management System is notified via a SNMP trap that this file is ready for transfer to the Network Management System via FTP services.

What is adnAmMakeAccounting?

ADN-MIB::adnAmMakeAccounting triggers the device to request and consolidate accounting data from all applications registered to report usage statistics. Network engineers enable this when they need current billing data pulled together without waiting for the next scheduled collection window. For instance, setting this to enabled forces the device to immediately ask all applications for their usage totals and combine them into one file for export.
