What is adnAeiPortTraPTPSetRqCounter?
This counter increments each time the port sends a setup request for a new point-to-point ATM connection, capturing total connection activity. Network engineers use this to understand connection workload, identify control-plane loops, and monitor capacity pressure on the ATM switching core. A value of 8,923 shows 8,923 point-to-point circuits have been requested since startup, indicating normal ongoing connection churn.
